Terms of service

These terms govern your use of WP Accessibility Fixer: the wpaccessibilityfixer.com website and the MCP service at mcp.wpaccessibilityfixer.com, a service by YLabs (“we”, “us”). By connecting an account or a site, you agree to them.

1. What WP Accessibility Fixer is

WP Accessibility Fixer lets AI assistants you already use (such as ChatGPT or Claude) check the published pages and posts of your WordPress site for common accessibility problems, through tools you use in conversation. It reports what it finds and who can fix each problem. When you ask it to, it changes image alt text (on the media item and in the posts and pages that show the image), heading levels and link text. You see a preview before a change is saved. A saved change can be undone while your site still holds the value WP Accessibility Fixer wrote and the connected WordPress user is allowed to save it back; a value edited since is left alone (see Undo).

2. Accounts and access

Your WP Accessibility Fixer sign-in uses the same account system as our other products (WPWriter, WP Agent and WP Image Fixer). Site access uses a revocable WordPress Application Password that you approve in your own wp-admin. We never receive your WordPress login password, and you can revoke access at any time in wp-admin → Users → Profile → Application Passwords. Keep control of the assistant accounts you connect: anyone who uses them can use your WP Accessibility Fixer connections.

3. The free first version

  • Up to 25 published pages and posts per check.
  • 10 fixes per calendar month, starting again on the 1st (UTC). One alt text, one heading or one link is one fix. Marking an image decorative and undo are not counted, and an undone fix still counts.
  • Checks, reports, previews and rule facts never use fixes.

There are no paid plans yet. If that changes, we will update these terms and tell you before anything you use is charged.

Fair use and technical limits

  • Up to 25 connected sites per account.
  • Up to 1,000 tool calls per account per day (resetting at midnight UTC).
  • Requests are rate-limited per IP address to protect the service (currently 300 per minute).
  • Up to 50 images per alt-text save, and up to 20 posts or pages per heading or link fix.

4. Acceptable use

  • You must own or have authority to manage every site you connect.
  • Don’t use WP Accessibility Fixer to publish unlawful content, malware, or content that infringes others’ rights.
  • Don’t try to breach, overload or probe the service, access other people’s sites or accounts, or get around the limits (for example with several accounts).

We may suspend or end accounts that do.

5. Your site and your content

  • You keep all rights to your site and its content. You give us only the permission needed to read your site and to make the changes you ask for.
  • Alt text and link text are written by your AI assistant. Read the preview before you confirm: you decide what is saved on your site.
  • We keep only the value each fix changed, so that you can undo it (see the privacy policy).

6. Accessibility results and rule facts

Automated checks find only some accessibility problems; a full review needs manual testing. WP Accessibility Fixer does not certify that a site meets any law or standard, and fixing the problems it reports does not make that true by itself. The country guides and the rule facts are general information, not legal advice; whether a rule applies depends on your organization and your site.

7. Third-party services

  • WordPress: WP Accessibility Fixer works with self-hosted WordPress sites through the WordPress REST API. WordPress is a trademark of the WordPress Foundation.
  • AI assistants: ChatGPT, Claude and other MCP clients are your own tools, used under their providers’ terms. What you type there, and what WP Accessibility Fixer returns to them, is handled by those providers.
  • WP Accessibility Fixer is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by WordPress.org, the WordPress Foundation, OpenAI or Anthropic.

8. Availability, disclaimer and limitation of liability

We aim for the service to be reliable, but it is provided “as is”, without warranty of uninterrupted availability. We may improve, add or retire features; if we ever end the service, we will give reasonable notice.

You are responsible for your own site backups. WordPress revisions and your own backups remain your safety net: WP Accessibility Fixer’s undo is not a backup service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost data arising from use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using WP Accessibility Fixer at any time: revoke its Application Password in wp-admin, remove the connector from your assistant and, if you wish, ask us to delete your account. We may end accounts that break these terms. The fixes already saved stay on your site either way.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date.

11. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by applicable law. If any part of them is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
